FastAlign® 5110Pro Quick Start Guide

What you should do prior to using your FastAlign® 5110Pro for the first time.  Easily setup your new meter in 4 easy steps.

This quick start guide will walk you through the primary and basic steps on setting up your meter for first use.  You will quickly see that operating the meter is very user-friendly.  Please follow the steps below to set your meter up for first use.  Please feel free to contact us with any questions, comments, or concerns.

Step 1:

For safety measures, the battery inside the meter is disconnected from the meter.  Take the yellow protective cover off of the meter and open the battery cover.  Connect the battery wire to the meter.  Replace the battery cover and replace the yellow protective cover back onto the satellite meter.

Step 2:

Power on the meter by pressing the red power button.  The small triangle cursor should be pointing at "SATELLITE BANK LOCATION".  Please refer to Figure 1.1 above.

Step 3:

Press and hold the "0" button on the keyboard for 3 seconds.  This will move the cursor to the "USER LONGITUDE" position of the screen.  Type in your Longitude, which can be obtained from DishPointer.  You can use any number button to change your position from E to W, or from W to E.

Press the "Option" button on the key board to move the cursor from "USER LONGITUDE" to "USER LATITUDE".  Set your Latitude which can be obtained from DishPointer. 

Step 4:

Press the "Save" button to save the settings.

Congratulations!  You have just setup your new FastAlign® 5110Pro professional satellite meter!

Note: Only after completing step 3, your meter will use the pre-programmed satellite list for that particular part of the hemisphere (Eastern hemisphere or Western hemisphere).  For example, if you are in the eastern hemisphere, by entering "E" in the "USER LONGITUDE" section of the meter, your meter will display pre-programmed satellite list available in the eastern hemisphere.  If you are in the western hemisphere (North & South America) and enter "W" in the "USER LONGITUDE" section of the meter, your meter will display satellites available in the western hemisphere.
